Research Literature for Park Break 2008
Gateway National Recreation Area: Global Climate Change

GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE refers to the on-going scientific and policy discussion surrounding current observed changes in the climate record-- specifically, how much of the current change can be attributed to internal changes within the climate system or in the interaction between its components, and how much to changes because of human activities (anthropogenic climate change).

In the context of parks, climate change could fundamentally alter every aspect of park management, both in terms of natural and cultural resources.
