Short Bio:
Blanca is a doctoral student in the department of Recreation, Park and
Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M University. She received her bachelor's degree
in business administration in her home country (Colombia) and holds a
master's degree in hospitality and tourism management from Purdue University
and another master's degree in tourism management from Ailun University in
Italy. Prior to join Texas A&M, she held several positions in the
hospitality and tourism industry, including Hilton Hotels, Starwood Hotels
and Resorts, and the International Institute for Peace through Tourism.
