Funding Opportunities
Faculty in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences work with funding agencies to provide resources to graduate students with particular academic foci. The following links provide an introduction to some of those opportunities:
Graduate Assistantships Available: NSF IGERT-Applied Biodiversity Science Program
Sloan Foundation Scholarships: Faculty sponsors include Dr. Gillian Bowser (lead), Dr. Ulrike Gretzel, and Dr. Sanjay Nepal
Graduate Assistantships Available: Center for Socioeconomic Research and Education
Additional teaching and research assistantships are available annually. Tuition expenses are paid for TA's and RA's, in addition to a monthly stipend of $1400 for PhD students and $1100 for Masters degree students. For further information, contact:
